Howard Miller floor standing grandfather clock to a room can make the ultimate statement of refined elegance. These magnificent clocks, destined to become family heirlooms, are available in traditional designs as well as contemporary styling. Howard Miller clocks are regarded as collectors items and can be found on display in the finest galleries.
A Tradition of Excellence
Howard Miller started the company in the 1920s, continuing a tradition of stretching back three generations. He was taught the intricate art of clockmaking by his father in the storied Black Forest of Germany. Today, the company is located in Michigan and produces fine clocks and curio cabinets made of exotic hardwoods and glass manufactured to the highest standards of quality.
Exceptional Floor Clocks
The Howard Miller clock collection features a wide range of floor clocks with traditional and trend-setting contemporary designs. Floor clocks reach approximately eight feet in height, making a dramatic visual impression when placed in an entrance foyer or living room. Floor clocks offer such outstanding features as carved molding, burled fronts, swan neck pediments, distressed finishes and canted columns. You will also find clocks with beveled glass doors, elegantly carved fee and polished brass weight shells. Chiming preferences are offered, along with an automatic night chime shut-off option.
An Outstanding Clock Collection
In additional to iconic floor or grandfather clocks, the Howard Miller collection includes wall clocks, mantel clocks, table clocks and weather and maritime clocks. Wall clocks offer traditional styling and use a quartz battery movement. Typical chiming wall clocks play Westminster chimes on the hour and feature Roman numeral dials with a polished brass finished center ring and bezel along with a brass imprinted pendulum. A variety of mantle clocks are available, with and without chime features.
Curio Cabinets
The same outstanding workmanship typical of Howard Miller clocks is evident in the beautiful collection of curio cabinets. These dramatic accent furniture pieces are designed for delicate collections that make a home unique. Many curio cabinets reach heights over six feet and feature beautiful hardwoods, glass mirrored backs, and adjustable shelving with metal clips to lock the shelf in place. Curio cabinets can be lit from within to emphasize your collection. A front lock is included for security.
